Privacy

This page is about the McWain Hauling & Junk Removal website. It covers what we collect when you ask for an estimate and what we do with it. Effective October 2026.

What we collect

When you use the estimate form, you give us your name, your phone number, your email if you choose to add it, your town, the details of the job, and any photos you add.

What we use it for

Only to get back to you and give you a price for the job. That's it.

How it gets to us

The form sends your details to us by email, through an email delivery service called Resend. If we turn on a customer list system (a CRM) later, your details also go there so we can keep track of the job.

How you found us, cookies and Microsoft Clarity

Your browser keeps a small note of how you first found this site and how you got here this time (for example, a link from our Google profile or an ad), and sends it along with the estimate form. If you arrive from a Google ad, we also store the ad's click ID in a cookie on this site for up to 90 days, so we can tell which ads bring in jobs. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site: clicks, scrolling, and session recordings. The estimate form is masked in those recordings, so what you type (your name, phone, email, address) and the photos you add are never recorded. Clarity uses cookies to do this. You can read how Microsoft handles that data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We don't sell your info

We don't sell or rent your information to anyone. We never share your mobile number with third parties for marketing.

Text messages

If you pick “Text me” or text us, we'll text you about your request. Reply STOP to opt out. The details are in our Terms.
